20.03.2005

“Forget India, Let's Go To Bulgaria”, wrote Business Week couple of months ago, recognizing Bulgaria’s nearby talent, competitive pricing and economic stability as the new East European hub for developing sophisticated products and solutions in information technologies. From November 28th to December 8th three US cities – Stanford (CA), Seattle (WA) and Washington (DC), will host conferences and one2one meetings with 20 leading Bulgarian companies and associations, led by top government officials.

The “I C Talent – Bulgaria” branded presentations will discuss the robust legal framework, liberal tax environment, viable competence and cost structure which position Bulgaria as a preferred location for knowledge-based businesses, investment in technology, shared services and R&D activities. The US companies can rely on comprehensive introduction and government support to set up operations in Bulgaria. The country - leading applicant to enter the EU in 2007, comes first in IT certified specialists per capita in EMEA, third in Europe in number of ICT specialists and beats Ireland, Hungary and Poland in pricing.

The USAID supported event is organized by the Invest Bulgaria Agency and its local partners – BulgariaHiTech; Carr, Swanson & Randolph; Commercial and Economic Office, Embassy of Bulgaria. For further information, please visit www.bulgariahitech.com and www.ictbg.com.
